Faith can be in politics...

...the question is how it enters into this foreign world. Political issues are not necessarily (or ever) tests of faith! One cannot keep faith out of things like politics, but one can refuse to allow his/her faith and integrity to be compromised by making political issues litmus tests for genuine faith. If someone says to me "You must vote this way, you must support this judge or this candidate, you must support this political issue or you are not a true person of faith, a true Christian," I am inclined to support the very thing they do not want me to for the simple reason that they have crossed a line between politics and faith that should not be crossed, and so I will vote/support the other way just to maintain that line of separation.
