New Albums

Two of my all-time favorite artists are releasing new albums on the same day! On September 13th I will have "Life in Slow Motion" by David Gray and "Where You Live" by Tracy Chapman. I can't wait.

For what it's worth: If I were to do a list of the most influential albums of my life, like jmac is beginning to do, Tracy Chapman's self-titled debut would be at the top.

Also: Death Cab for Cutie has got a new one hitting the streets August 30th called "Plans". It is their first album on a major label - Atlantic Records. Interestingly, Tracy Chapman's newest is her first with Atlantic, having been, on her first six albums, under the Elektra label, which was absorbed by Atlantic in 2004.
