Rose Bowl Parade
Today is the 117th Rose Bowl Parade. It is also the first time in 50 years that it has rained. I really feel for all the people that came to visit sunny SoCal and now find themselves wet and miserable. I would not have been caught dead on Colorado Blvd. this morning. In fact, my guess is that the flowers on the floats are the only ones enjoying the rain. As for me, I'm content to watch 24in our dry living room 7 blocks away. Go Jack Bauer!

i went to the rose parade every year for about 7 years when i was kid. the 4 o'clock in the morning air was miserable enough for me, i can't imagine having it rain!!
it was great to see you guys the other day! i miss having you around here.
