I just noticed AKMA noted seeing me at AAR/SBL. For those who drop by out of curiosity about the Chris Spinks guy AKMA mentioned, you might find my "professional" blog more interesting. Ekballo, this blog you're on now, is a place for my wife and I to do anything we want. So you will often find things about music, politics, humor, life, etc. Over at katagrapho, you will find me talking about things hermeneutical, biblical, academic, and a few asides from time to time. I welcome you to either place.
BTW: AKMA is a great guy. I suspected as much in reading his blog. It was confirmed upon meeting him this past week.
