To fix your positioning problem, go into the HTML view of your blog post and remove all of the new lines from the beginning table tag to the end table tag. In other words, make sure all the html just wraps. The problem occurs because blogger.com replaces newlines with html breaks. The resulting br's get thrust above the table at display time because technically they are not allowed between the tags within a table.
