Sojourners : Faith in Action
Finally a progressive Evangelical organization that is doing what neo-conservatives have been doing effectively for some time. Don't know yet what to think about it, but it is nice to see a progressive Evangelical organization getting into the political fray in these ways. I don't think I would follow everything lock, stock and barrel, but I do support what it is they are trying to accomplish - be an Evangelical Christian voice other than that too often represented by neo-conservatives and perpetuated by the media who love to draw definitive lines automatically connecting Evangelical Christians with the Religious Right.

I say "2 thumbs up" to Sojourners. They are making refreshing waves in today's polarized political arena. What a novel idea that people of faith could also support causes like economic and social justice!
